MOTOVUN

Motovun is located 21 km southeast of Buje, above the southern bank of the middle course of the Mirna River. It lies about 70 km from Rijeka and Pula and is considered one of the best-preserved medieval urban complexes in Croatia. This probably most famous and attractive Istrian medieval town is regarded as the center of northern Istria, drawing attention with its natural beauty and appealing tourist offers.
Motovun is a popular tourist destination, today renowned as a haven for hedonists from all over the world. According to one legend, the mythical figures Jason and the Argonauts once sailed at the foot of Motovun, while another traces the first inhabitants of the area back to around 3500 BC.
ROXANICH WINERY & DESIGN HOTEL

Roxanich is a family-owned winery located in Motovun, in the heart of the Istrian wine region, renowned for producing natural wines with long aging. It was founded by Mladen Rožanić and is now run with the help of his six daughters, after whom one wine line, “Sorelle”, is named.
The winery follows a philosophy of minimal intervention, creating authentic wines that express the terroir of the Istrian region. The vineyards are situated on an ideal slope with excellent air circulation, allowing the cultivation of top-quality grapes. The portfolio includes fresh white and rosé wines, amber wines, reds, sparkling wines, and fortified wines, all produced in limited editions.
The winery also features a design hotel with 32 rooms, a restaurant, and a wine cellar carved into the hill below Motovun. The complex offers a unique eno-gastronomic experience and is the perfect place to explore Istrian culture and wines.
